re3 continues its reuse revolution with the next pop-up shop to be hosted at the Bracknell Recycling Centre

Details of the event:  Reuse Pop Up Shop
Address: Bracknell Recycling Centre, Longshot Lane RG12 1RL
Date & Time: Saturday 29th October 8.00am – 1.00pm

Following a successful event at the Reading Recycling Centre, re3 invites residents to pick up a pre-loved bargain during the next pop-up reuse shop on 29th October, this time located at the Bracknell Recycling Centre, Longshot Lane.

Located on site, the pop-up shop will give residents an opportunity to buy good quality pre-loved items that have been previously donated by residents for reuse at the site at both sites. Doing so, they can support a good cause, as profits from this event will be donated to Sue Ryder charity which already operates as a reuse function at the sites. All items will be available for sale at bargain prices and there is no need to book a slot at the Recycling Centre if residents just want to visit the shop.

Visitors can expect to find a range of kids toys and games including electronic games, board games and books; we expect to have for sale sporting goods from bicycles and golf clubs to exercise equipment, racquets and bats; the gardeners out there we will have access to garden tools, pots and planters; and for the budding interior designer we will have selection of furniture which are great as they are or perfect for upcycling.

The last event welcomed over 250 visitors who found a new home for over 600 good quality items generating not only funds for a good cause, Sue Ryder, but also allowing the re3 councils and its contractor, FCC Environment to learn valuable lessons on how best to bring the reuse concept to even more residents.

If you’re already planning a visit to the Recycling Centre at the same time – simply drop off your items first then leave the site and drive to the other part of the facility. Please follow the signage or speak to our staff.
